This week I decided to something different with my work out schedule. I decided to try pre workout before my workouts. Pre workout is a powder that you put in your water and shake it up. The purpose in drinking this drink is that it is supposed to give you a lot of energy and get you really hyped up. I think that it is very beneficial for me to take this before I workout. I saw that I was working out a lot faster than I used to I also saw that I was taking a lot less brakes during my workout. After taking pre workout it makes me feel like I can tackle this workout easily. Hopefully pre workout will keep helping me with my workouts and help me become bigger and better at football.

Now that the season has ended I have just been working out. I have been working on my speed and strength. I have also been working on eating a lot more protein so that I will be gaining weight to get bigger to the next football season. I go to the gym ever Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this way I will work out upper body on Monday then lower body on Tuesday then I get a brake then work out upper body on Thursday and lower body on Friday. After every work out I try to find someone to throw football with me for 10 to 15 minutes so I keep making my hands better.
This week we are coming back from just losing to Glen so we need to figure out what we did wrong and practice it so that this week we can execute and come threw with a win. The only thing that we have to do is execute because the plays that we are calling are getting people open its just one person that does something wrong and then the whole play is messed up. It takes all 11 players on football field doing their job for the team to execute a play. So that is what we will be working on this week.
This week at football practice I have been working on my energy level and effort when I'm on the field. We just need to have a lot of energy for us to execute every play that we run. I think that our problem at practices has been that we don't have enough energy and it just seems dead out there. So we have just been working on getting exited for someone when they do something good. We have also been getting better at how competitive the defense and offense are during team time (offense and defense scrimmage).
This week I had a by week so I don't have any stats. What I worked on in practice was making my routs crisp. I had to figure out how many steps it took me to get to the cuts in my routs. The routs I run we have to go a certain amount of yards so if I figure out the amount of steps it takes me to get to those right yardages I won't have to look at the lines on the field and I can run the routs from anywhere on the football field. Doing this I will be able to run my routs faster and sharper.
Proposal: My challenge is to increase the amount of yards that I get each friday night during my football games by the end of the season. The only material I need is my stats for each game. My plan is to work on my speed and agility in attempt at increasing my yards per game. I plan on making sure that all my routes are the correct yardage so I can be open and receive as many passes as possible. I will do this by knowing how many steps it takes me to get to the right depths of my route to catch the ball and get as many yards as I can. This will be recorded and calculated weekly with each Friday night football game. The difficulties of this project are going to be that some games I will do good but other games I may not get as much playing time causing me to get little to no yards in a game, so it's going to be hard to greatly increase my yardage by the end of the season. I will overcome this by practicing hard each week after I have a bad game so I will do better and get more playing time in the next game. I will keep my weekly stats and progress on my blog so everyone can see it. My target audience or someone I would like to teach or help would be the lower classmen on the Varsity football team or any member of the Davie JV football team. Neva Little, my mom, will act as a mentor, by helping keep up with my yards and taking pictures during my playing time. It will be a successful project because even if I don't meet my goals I will be getting a lot better at football for years to come.
